Docks & Grounds Services Application

If you intend on having a slip, dry sail, kayak, jet dock, locker, or require hauling or storage services you must submit an application. Review the form and fill in all the information concerning your boat such as size, make and model.
Applications may be turned in to the Clubhouse office or emailed to the Club Assistant Dockmaster.
Members applying for a slip, dock, or mooring must turn in proof of insurance.
Incomplete applications will not be accepted.
Members who wish to utilize the same services as the previous year need to have the application submitted by November 1st. Applications for renewing prior services turned in after November 1, 2024 will be assessed a late penalty fee of $50.00.

Proof of Insurance - It is of the utmost importance that we have your current insurance information including a Proof of Insurance on file. If you submit your application without the proof of insurance, your application will not be accepted and will be returned to you for completion. You may have your agent email the page to the Club Assistant Dockmaster Danielle Adamowicz DAdamowicz@erieyachtclub.org.

Length Overall - The Committee asks that all owners put the correct Length Overall (LOA), not the water line length, on the Slip application. This includes swim platforms, bow pulpits, ladders, davits, or anchors that project out past the bow. Dry sail lengths must be the length of the vessel on the trailer, including the tongue of the trailer and anything that overhangs the back of the trailer.

Purchasing a Boat - If you currently do not own a boat but are sure you will be purchasing one before next boating season, fill out the application with the estimated size. That way you will be assured of being placed on the Club’s slip waiting list.

Slip Change Request - Current slip holders who wish to have a new assignment should write the request in the request section. All requests for changes will be reviewed and if possible, will be accommodated prior to any new slips being assigned.

Refunds- A Member who declines their slip or jet dock will be afforded a refund as follows: 100% refund on or before April 30th, 80% on or before May 31st, 60% on or before June 30th, No refund after June 30th.

Payment - Please do not return payment with your Application. All fees will be billed after the Dock Committee makes the assignments.

The Dock Committee thanks our members for taking the time to update the information for our files. This simple task saves EYC staff and the member volunteers on the Dock Committee a lot of time, and the process goes much smoother when we have all the information. Please feel free to contact the club with questions.

After all of the Club owned furniture, boats, and other items are in the basement for the winter, the Grounds Committee will evaluate a space to be used for mast storage. If you would be interested in storing your mast in the basement for the winters in the future, please fill out a poll.
