Reyburn Sailing School

Come sail with us! Welcome to the Erie Yacht Club's Reyburn Sailing School. 2009 mark 59 yrs of excellence in sailing instruction. This year the Reyburn Sailing School has made significant changes, offering a variety of youth and adult classes. Our NEW curriculum focuses on individual skill levels ranging from Beginner to Advanced Racing Sailors and carefully follows US SAILING guidelines. Our fleet consists of the Club Junior, the 420, and the Optimist Pram. All are tried and proven as exceptionally safe and easy-to-sail boats for novice and accomplished sailors.

The staff of instructors have been carefully selected for their knowledge of the sport, as well as their ability to teach. Our instructors are CPR, First Aid, and USSAILING certified. Our beginner classes meet or exceed the USSailing recommended 6:1 student to instructor ratio. Highly qualified staff, well maintained equipment, excellent facilities, and a well structured curriculum ensure a safe and fun learning environment for all.
